The Best Key Lime Pie

Ingredients:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
2. Zest your lime (scrape the outer part of the lime)

3. Combine your zest a 4 eggs yolks (yellow part) in a bowl
4. Mix the zest and eggs yolks together until it looks creamy but a little runny.
5. Then start adding 1 can of sweetened condensed milk slowly while still mixing
6. At the very end add 1/2 of lime juice and mix for just a couple seconds
7. Pour the mixture into your pie crust (I bought mine pre-made) and put it in the oven for 15 minutes.
8. Take out after 15 minutes and put it in the fridge

9. Add whip cream if you'd like and enjoy!

Sweet Cornbread

Ingredients:
  • 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees and grease 9inch round pan.
  • 2. Combine one(1) cup all-purpose flour, one(1) cup yellow cornmeal, 2/3 cup white sugar,
  • 1 teaspoon salt, and 3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3. Mix it all up
  • 4. Then once all your dry ingredients are in there you can add the 1 egg, 1 cup milk, and 1/3 cup vegetable oil.
  • 5. Mix it all really well and then pour into your round 9 inch pan.

ENJOY! It is sooo good :)
Also, it would be a very easy side dish to include during Thanksgiving!

Yellow Honey Cake with Peanut Butter Honey Icing

First, let me explain - I am not a professional chef.

I am a college student- with limited utensils and money.

But it doesn't mean I don't like good home cookin' !!

Now.....

Documented experiment numero uno.

INGREDIENTS FOR CAKE:

(all ingredients on back of cake box too)
1. Follow directions on back of cake mix box.
2. Add 2 'splashes' on cinnamon (splash mean shake some in there)
3. Add a big squeeze of honey :)
4. Put in oven & bake!... in the mean time....

INGREDIENTS FOR ICING:

Making icing can be done in many ways- this is my first experiment.
1. Get a big mixing bowl
2. Add 1/2 cup of butter
3. Add 2  1/2 cups of powdered sugar
4. Add 2 big spoonfuls of peanut butter
5. Add a shake of cinnamon
6. Add a small squeeze of honey
7. Mix all together and put in the fridge

Once, the cake is done- let it cool for a little bit ;)
Set the icing next to it & add as much as you'd like :)

Enjoy! I sure did!
